High aspect ratio is the ratio value of board thickness and aperture. The critical technologies for high aspect ratio include lamination, drilling and through-hole plating.

With the increasing need for board thickness by the customers, the three technologies listed above become more and more important.

Drilling bits that are thinner than hair and the board thickness is around 5 mm~8 mm, the precisely measured aspect ratio can be 50.

  

Back Drill

 

This can decrease the stub which influences the signal to the shortest.

Through Hole Plating

 

The plating technology of precisely measured high aspect ratio is to make the highest processing ability in the industry. Pitch that is 0.4 mm or above, the highest copper board thickness of the aspect ratio within 41 can reach to 1.0 mil.
