Title : PCB Design Engineer

Duty :

·       Discuss with customers and review customers’ requirements to design PCB (printed circuit board) that can handle higher frequency of signals and high- power performances.

·       Using Cadence OrCAD for circuits design, Cadence Allegro PCB for PCB design and Cadence Package Designer for substrate design to provide schematic and layout design & drawing for PCB including building symbols for component, managing parts library, making connection between circuit, mechanical drawing and perform placement, routing and tuning.

·       Using Cadence Allegro Sigrity for PCB’s SI (Signal Integrity) simulation, including crosstalk, characteristic impedance, S-parameter, Eye diagram and high speed Serdes signals.

·       Using Cadence Allegro Sigrity PI (Power Integrity) for PCB’s PDN (power delivery networks) simulation, including IR-Drop analysis and power impedance analysis.

·       Coordinate with parent company’s FAB team to build experiment sample for feasibility study and during production process.

·       Conduct research on PCB transmission specification, mechanical design and material selection based on customer’s needs, cost concern and possible future new transmission specification change to ensure design matches entire settings.

·       Communicate and coordinate with the PCB factory and provide PCB designing, manufacturing, testing verification and debugging services

Requirement:

Bachelor degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or foreign equivalent) plus 2 years’ experience in job offered or as engineer with PCB design experience using Cadence OrCAD, Allegro PCB, Sigrity SI (Signal Integrity) and PI (Power Integrity) tools.
