PAM4 coding can double the data rate in the same frequency bandwidth. PAM4 has the advantage of high-speed transmission. The SNR of PAM4 must be nearly 11dB higher than NRZ to get the Sam BER. Therefore, the prediction of transmission line characteristics and circuit board layout skills has become essential.
CHPT has considerable expertise in PAM4 design and simulation to ensure high-speed transmission signal quality. In an extreme test environment, a fixed signal attenuation test of long range transmission lines is performed to ensure the receiving performance. Only accurate simulation and PCB process capability can meet the test requirements.
